Senior Project Manager

The Senior Project Manager is accountable for efficient and effective delivery of operational objectives and specific projects’ deliverables. Accountable for all aspects of project including supply management, project controls and project margin. Ensuring specific/ identified projects are delivered on time and within budget. Ensure optimal utilization of resources and projects are implemented within budget.

Core Roles

  • Responsibility for the operations of the projects.
  • Monitoring of plan submission and approval with the authorities and advising on infrastructure requirements, assessment of engineering designs and tender documentation for all assigned projects.
  • Review on design and implement value engineering.
  • Complement and coordinate the day-to-day activities of project and site activities, including developers, consultants and internal technical support team.
  • Schedule and ensure that all appropriate tender drawings and documents.
  • To involve and implement pre-tender, interviews, award and contract binding.
  • Prepare and present feasibility study and financial budgets.
  • To ensure all comments issued by Local Authorities are to be attended and complied with to enable issuance of Letter of Clearance and CCC.
  • Provision of customer services support to other departments on technical issues, marketing and sales and handover of projects.
  • To conduct market research on comparison of prices, product, specifications, quality and environmental aspects.
  • Participation in resource planning, departmental goals and strategic planning.
  • Accountable for the implementation and compliance with approved quality, occupational safety, health and environment standards to meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements.
  • To maintain confidentiality and observe data protection and associated guidelines where appropriate.
  • Involved in Business Development of the company related to the Project Planning aspect.
  • Undertakes any other tasks and assignments as directed by the Management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, Property Management, Town & Regional Planning, Building, Architectural or any equivalent discipline.
  • Minimum eight (8) years’ working experience in technical design, site supervision and management of building construction site.
  • Familiarity with construction industry related issues.
  • Possess a flair for property development, complete project cycle and strategic master planning including aspects such as marketing, feasibility studies, project management and authority liaison.
  • Understanding of financial aspects of property development and construction with the ability to monitor progress against project cash flow and expenditure.
  • Possess good knowledge of project management.
  • Ability to manage and supervise related engineering and architectural works.
  • Possess initiative and good leadership qualities.
  • Ability to resolve detailing problems at site.
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Office 365).
  • Ability to facilitate facilities team coordination and client meetings effectively.
  • Dynamic, self-motivated, proactive and results-oriented with a proven track record in the construction industry.
  • Ability to resolve and escalate issues in a timely manner.
  • Manage the process of innovative change effectively.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
